You need to go through an entire process to become an RN/RPN in Canada if you already were a nurse in your home country. The steps are as follows:

Apply to NNAS to get your credentials verified: NNAS receives your application, prepares an advisory report and sends it to your regulatory body in the province selected by you. You can apply to multiple provinces at the same time by paying separate fee. NNAS needs the documents to be sent directly from your college, employer and regulatory body. YOU CAN NOT SEND THE DOCUMENTS ON YOUR OWN.
After you get your advisory report, you create an application online on the website of your provincial regulatory body.
Based on your advisory report, your regulatory body outlines the next steps you need to take to obtain your license.
